About Me:

Hey everyone, I am Cathryn. I am going into my 5th year of pharmacy at Butler University. I am also working toward a minor in Science, Technology & Society! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and writing. I've been working on NaNoWriMo and am hoping to be published at some point in the near future as well. Most of the time you can catch me studying in the library or browsing the Internet. Oh, and did I mention that I got married last summer?

My transformation into a morning person

If you didn’t already know, I used to hate getting up before 8 AM. I mean, 10 AM was good, 11 AM was better. Bed time used to be around 2 AM. A lot of AM’s are flying around here right now.

Then I married Curtis. This is how Curtis works.

Me, six months ago: I need to call Curtis! Something funny is on TV and I need to call and tell hi–Oh. It’s 10:30. He’s in bed.

Me, today: It’s 8:30. I have so much to do before I go to bed in 90 minutes [side note: I just went and watched TV for an hour and now I’m back and it is almost 11 PM–GASP].

I have somehow become a morning person. I don’t like waking up at 5:45 AM, but I do arrive to my 8 AM class not feeling like I got hit by a train. Mind you, this is done with lots of coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

So there you have it, kids. Go to bed early for about two weeks and get on a morning schedule. That’s how I did it, that’s how America does it–aaaand it’s worked pretty well so far.

I now leave you with something more exciting than my sleep schedule.
