About Me:

Hey everyone, I am Cathryn. I am going into my 5th year of pharmacy at Butler University. I am also working toward a minor in Science, Technology & Society! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and writing. I've been working on NaNoWriMo and am hoping to be published at some point in the near future as well. Most of the time you can catch me studying in the library or browsing the Internet. Oh, and did I mention that I got married last summer?

A cacophony of thoughts

Last night, around 11 PM, my phone rang with an unidentified 513 area code phone number. I let it go to voicemail. Immediately after, it rang again, so I picked it up.

Me: Hello?

Man: Hey uhh we just met you was walkin’ up the street.

Me: … No?

[silence]

Who gives their number to people on the street?! And then who has the guts to call that number? GEEZ.

I think I need to admit right now that I’m feeling a little uninspired today. The past couple of months have been this nonstop ride of work, work, more work, school, other obligations, no time to do anything, putting off grocery shopping for almost 3 weeks (impressive, right?), and trying to get some sleep in between. My evenings are crushed between getting home after a long day and needing to go to bed, but also having homework and needing some serious “do nothing” time.

I’m hoping things will slow down soon. Until then, I’m just hoping I have some time to read or do something enjoyable this weekend.

MORE DUCKIES. A rare glimpse of Barry behaving himself and not chasing off other ducks.

lol what a funny and equally weird story. You will be surprised how many people give our their numbers to strangers these days (kinda scary when you think about it)
