About Me:

Hey everyone, I am Cathryn. I am going into my 5th year of pharmacy at Butler University. I am also working toward a minor in Science, Technology & Society! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and writing. I've been working on NaNoWriMo and am hoping to be published at some point in the near future as well. Most of the time you can catch me studying in the library or browsing the Internet. Oh, and did I mention that I got married last summer?

Mexican Food

Hi Internet! I apologize for my long absence. I could write 100 blog entries about what I’ve been doing, the clusters I’ve taken, the Butler basketball victories obtained, the new phones I’ve acquired.

Instead I’m going to talk about my unfathomable love with Mexican food.

So C Club has lots of different things to grab for lunch, and I have been addicted to their quesadillas for about four years now. They have a huge spread of everything imaginable that you can pile precariously onto a quesadilla (and other things like salads and wraps–but those aren’t Mexican). I have mastered the cheese, chicken, jalapenos, green peppers, and lettuce quesadilla. If I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I would.

On any given day, if you ask me what I want to eat, 9 out of 10 times I will tell you I want tacos. Or burritos. Or nachos. I just love Mexican food. I like Chipotle, I like Qdoba, and I especially enjoy slightly mediocre Mexican food, like a certain franchise in Cincinnati that I will spare from mentioning. But you can’t get mad at a restaurant for neglecting to season anything when they give you free chips and salsa.

So anyway, I’m very grateful to have a campus option for Mexican. Although I must say–freshman year, Atherton Union had a chicken tortilla soup that was off the hook. I don’t think they’ve had it since though. Has anyone seen it??
