Perks that come with living in the Apartment Village?

But also! FREE STUFF.
The AV hosts faculty dinners a few times a year! All you do is sign up and you’re set to go on a fabulously free dinner where you can chat with faculty members from different colleges and other people who live in the AV. Last weekend, the roomies and I went to see The Diary of Anne Frank at the IRT downtown. It was great. Everyone cried.
Then we went to Buca di Beppo! It was a fantastic evening.
The AV also took us to see a midnight showing of Twilight: … New Moon? Was it that one? Whatever. It was hilariously mediocre and I giggled the entire time. I’ve also going to PF Changs and Rock Bottom Brewery all for free!
It’s a great opportunity to get out with new people. Transportation is provided, so you’re either on a school bus or in a giant passenger van. All result in good times.
