Butler University’s campus changes on a daily basis. There are always different events going on and unique opportunities to take advantage of. On a tour, you will get a first-hand view of campus and experience what a typical day at Butler is like. Throughout your tour, you will most likely see sidewalk chalk promoting activities going on around campus, hear an acapella group singing and selling CDs, or witness a particular club or group selling t-shirts for promoting their upcoming event. If it is warm outside, you will see students sitting on the mall with friends, playing ultimate Frisbee, or even participating in a competitive game of campus golf. If our campus is covered in snow, you could see students outside having snowball fights or sledding down the Butler Bowl! Regardless there’s always something fun going on!
As with most tours, you will get a chance to walk through the academic buildings. That’s the most important part right? You’ll also get a chance to stroll though the dining halls, student union, and even check out an actual dorm room. After getting a glimpse of the residence halls, you will make your way to the Health Recreation Complex to view our amazing workout facilities. If you’re lucky, you will get a chance to hang out with our lovely mascots Blue II and Blue III (Trip), they typically hang out behind the front desk. Lastly you will be taken to the historical Hinkle Field House!
That’s a few sights you might see while on a tour at Butler. So, what are you waiting for? Schedule a visit now!
