Happy Thursday everyone! I don’t even know how many times I’ve mentioned this, but I love the Internet. Specifically Youtube. Lately, I have found the Youtube channel MirandaSings08 to be especially hilarious.
MirandaSings08 is a channel run by Colleen Ballinger, an American comedian, actress, and singer. Ballinger created the character Miranda, the star of her channel, in 2008 as a parody of egotistical singers on Youtube who post bad videos expecting to become famous. Miranda’s signatures include her incredibly bad voice, her aversion to porn and the devil, baggy collared shirts, catch phrases such as “yeah right” and “thanks a lot,” and finally, her red lip stick.
MirandaSings is certainly an acquired taste. Her videos make me feel uncomfortable because she’s so awkward, but I can’t stop watching. Ballinger commits so wholeheartedly to the character that it is hilarious! The first time I ever saw a MirandaSings video was before I really knew much about Youtube, so I didn’t realize that people posted skit-type videos, and I thought she was serious and it skeeved me out. Thank goodness I have seen the light and can now appreciate the greatness that is MirandaSings08. Check out some of her videos for an uncomfortable laugh.

Happy Friday to all! These past few weeks have been crazy busy due to dance team and Greek life things getting ready for homecoming. Because of this, I apologize for my lack of creative posts lately. Since the homecoming game is tomorrow and everything is winding down, I promise my blogging will be back on point.
I also need to get back into vlogging. If you haven’t seen my vlogs, give this here link a little click and educate yourself! I have several vlogs in mind, and will start filming those again lickity split. I also have a few humorous posts in mind, so you have that to look forward to, yeah? I also apologize for the lameness of this post, but I feel it is my duty as a blogger to update you on why I have been struggling lately. Please forgive me, dear reader. This is my last boring post, and I promise I will be back to my usual greatness (I’m like, really humble) soon.
Here’s a funny video for your troubles. (Fun fact: my friend Sam can recite this video word for word. #Cray)
Have a great AND SAFE weekend, and thanks for reading
Happy Thursday to all! I am quite fond of YouTube, and I have recently been really into a channel called LAHWF.
LAHWF (Losing All Hope Was Freedom) is run by a man named Andrew Hales. Hales, with the help of his friends, performs social experiments and films them for his 531,000 subscribers. His videos range from holding people hands, to whispering “needy” things to people. He also has a video where he tells strangers corny jokes, which is great, because I sometimes do that!
All of his videos are really funny and awkward because no one knows how to react to the strange things he does. Basically, I have started living vicariously through Andrew Hales.
In other news, I got recognized for my blog by a stranger in Starbucks the other night. It was super exciting and was the second time I’ve been recognized by someone. #InternetFamous #OnMyWay
Also, tomorrow afternoon is an acoustic concert in Holcolm Gardens for Peace Week. I mentioned on Monday that it is Peace Week, and what sounds more ideal than listening to some tunes whilst sitting in the beautiful place that is Holcolm Gardens? Nothing, that’s what. The concert is from 3-5 p.m. Be there or be square.
Have a great end to the week and thanks for reading

Happy Wednesday to all! Today is a glorious day because as of 8:48 this morning, I finished all of my finals! Yippie skippieeee!!! I only had one written exam for my anthropology class, and that was this morning. Other than that, I had many papers, a presentation, and art projects. The bulk of my finals work was due last week, so this week was not too stressful. Either way, I am very happy to be officially done for the semester!
I was originally supposed to stay until Saturday and dance at the Crossroads Classic basketball game with the rest of the dance team, but unfortunately we are no longer performing. I am going home on Friday now, so I suppose it will be nice to get home a little earlier than I expected. Speaking of nice things, I have some wonderful YouTube videos to share with you.
As you can probably tell from some of my other posts, I love YouTube. I recently started watching some videos by The Fine Brothers and they are all hilarious. They do a lot of different stuff on YouTube from full on television production-type videos to more simple, weekly videos. I have been watching their React series of videos in which they show kids, teens, or elders a video clip of some sort and then ask them questions about it. It might not sound too entertaining, but it is indeed hilarious! I have put some of my favorite videos down below. Good luck with the rest of finals, have a wonderful week, and thanks for reading
