Happy Halloween!! I keep forgetting that is it Halloween because everyone celebrated it this past weekend. My friends and I went to SNU’s VooDoo Halloween party on Saturday night and it was so fun! I absolutely LOVE to dance (and dress up in crazy costumes), and there was plenty of both! My friend Sam and I were thugs, my friend Kelly was Rosie the Riveter, and my friend Katie was Facebook. What cute and creative friends I have!

Onto the next topic of business, I am going to start vlogging in the next couple of weeks. As I have mentioned before, I am borderline addicted to watching vloggers on YouTube, so I am really excited to start some vlogs of my own! I am a tad bit nervous though because how can you not feel awkward talking to yourself? I am anxious to get started though! To get you a little more comfortable with seeing me on camera, here is a video my friend Ally and I filmed over the summer. We went shopping in Chicago one day and decided to film ourselves dancing in every store. #LiveToDance. Have a great rest of the week and thanks for reading
Happy weekend to all! Yesterday Schwitzer Hall had a trick or treat event for some kids to come through the building in their costumes and do some early trick-or-treating. Each of the units decorated the halls in an attempt to win the award for best decorated unit. My unit decorated our hallway in accordance with the Pixar movie Up. We put balloons everywhere and my roommate and I made the house from the movie out of paper and stuck it on the wall. Some of the other units were decorated like Harry Potter or Monsters Inc. We still don’t know who won, but we will find out very soon.
Yesterday evening the children came through. Three of my friends and I dressed up as Goldie-locks and the three bears (I was Papa Bear) and handed out candy to some adorable children! Not as many kids came by as we had anticipated, so I was forced to eat the extra candy. I wasn’t happy about it, but somebody had to do it! As I have said before, Halloween is probably my least favorite holiday because I eat ridiculous amounts of candy on a regular basis, and if I want to dress up like a crazy person I can do that any day of the week, but it was fun seeing all of the cute little kids come by.

Since I forgot a joke in last Friday’s post, here’s two for this week:
Who did the ghost take to the dance? His ghoul friend!
Why didn’t the skeleton go to the party? He had no body to dance with!
Have a great weekend and thanks for reading
Happy Wednesday! It is now officially October (third to be exact) and fall is in full swing.
I absolutely love fall; it is my favorite season! I love the clothing that accompanies fall: sweaters, jackets, boots, and scarves, as well as the weather. I love that it is sunny with a slight chill. It just #FeelsSoRight (did you read my post about hashtaggin?). Plus my birthday is in November, so that is always something I look forward to. Fall Break is also coming up and I am really excited to go home and see my family!
Another fun thing about October, quite obviously, is Halloween! I am not a huge fan of Halloween because masks used to terrify me as a child, and quite frankly they still do. Plus I feel that you should just dress up in a crazy costume any time you feel like it, not just one day of the year. I do enjoy decorating for Halloween though. I think decorating for any holiday is fun and puts you in the holiday spirit. Although I am not really sure what the holiday spirit for Halloween would be other than scaring people…My roommate Ashni and I decorated our door for Halloween and it was a hit with our floor mates! We named our monster Eyevan Grendl Patollard (combination of our last names).

Now we are on a quest to figure out what to be for Halloween. Once I figure it out I am sure I will post about it! Have a great rest of the week and thanks for reading
