Happy Friday all. My brain feels like there’s air in it, and I am sitting in a public place where I can make weird observations, so it feels right to have another stream of consciousness post. (See my other two here and here). Let’s begin.
The people in front of me are platonically holding hands. Now they are clapping them together. Friendship really is the best ship. There’s a man with a nice beard sitting across the room. It’s just the right length; more than scruff, but not long enough that his food will get stuck in it. If I were a man I would definitely have a beard. And dreadlocks. In my GHS class, we watched a documentary on Bob Marley (way cool by the way), and there were a lot of dreadlocks in that film. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I spot one of my friends working. I see him through the cracks in the coffee machinery stuff. That didn’t make sense, but that’s okay. Does anything really make sense?
The other day my roommate Hanna and I were talking about how literally everything is made up. NOTHING IS REAL. Time is not real. All we know for certain is that the sun rises and sets every “day,” but how do we know that that is actually a day? And who said there are 24 hours in one day, and what is an hour even?! Everything is a lie. Also, how crazy is language? Who decided that a chair would be called a chair, rather than a lighthouse? I’m just so unsure, ya know?
I still need to write another blog post because I’m the worst and forgot to post throughout the week. My head feels a little loopy, but I think that’s because I forgot to eat breakfast. Always eat breakfast, kids. Break the fast. Okay, bye.
