Lollapalooza Lineup

Happy Wednesday friends! The Lollapalooza lineup was released today, and I am so excited I could kiss someone on the mouth!

As I mentioned in this post on my summer blog, I went to Lollapalooza for the first time last summer and absolutely loved it. Well, let us take a look at the day-by-day schedule and discuss the bands I’m excited to see, shall we? use

Friday August 1:

Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, Portugal. The Man, and The Kooks. I also kind of want to see Into it. Over it. I’ve never heard of them before and have no idea what kind of music they play, but I dig that band name so hard.

Saturday August 2:

Outkast would be fun, but not essential, Foster the People, The Head and the Heart, Fitz & the Tantrums, Kate Nash-holy cow yes!!!, and Vance Joy.

Sunday August 3:

Cage the Elephant, Young the Giant, who I just saw (check out this post), and The 1975 holy Mother of Pearl!!!!

Obviously there are bands sprinkled throughout all days that I do enjoy, but I will not be heartbroken if I don’t see them. My two essentials, as I am sure you can tell, are Kate Nash and The 1975. I am a bit disappointed, however, that Bastille isn’t playing. That would be prime.

The 3-day passes for Lollapalooza are all sold out, but you can still buy single day passes on their website. If you even have a slight inkling to go, I highly encourage it. It is so worth the price and you get to be surrounded by a vortex of music and happiness for three whole days. Wow, so great.

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for reading :)
