Classes have been in full swing for officially two weeks now, and surprisingly I am enjoying being back at school. I know I have only been at Butler for about two and a half weeks, but I am already loving it. College is so much better than high school because of all of the different types of people and all of the opportunities to learn. Another great thing is all of the different clubs and activities. There is never a dull moment here, which is great. So far I have met a ton of new people and I have joined several clubs. I am on Dance Team, and I am going to call out meetings for ADrenaline, the Dance Marathon, and ECO, so hopefully I will continue to become more involved. As far as my classes go, I am enjoying most of them.
My FYS is called Rock and Roll High School and it is about how literature and music have influence youth culture. I am also taking a literature class where we will be reading classic books such as The Great Gatsby, Grapes of Wrath, and The Things They Carried. My anthropology class is probably my most challenging class because I am not really too interested in anthropology, so it is the least exciting to me. I am also taking modern dance for my Physical Well Being requirement and I am loving it! My favorite class is my drawing class, which is required for all Art + Design majors. The final class I am taking is JC110 The First Year Experience. This is a new class developed to get all of the freshman within the College of Fine Arts to get to know each other and become inspired by other artistic disciplines. We will be going to performances throughout the year and I am very excited for it! If the rest of the year is as fun as these past two weeks have been, I cannot wait! Happy Wednesday and thanks for reading

Wow, it sounds like you are going to be one busy person this fall.
I’m glad you’re enjoying classes!
