As I sit in a meeting for my business group, I find myself really struggling to focus on anything – including writing this blog. I’ve never been more ready for a Friday – not just a break – in my ENTIRE life. I’ve had more meetings in the past week, and I can’t even think straight even more. Let alone I stayed up until 6AM last night doing homework (and praying for a delayed start that never came).
One thing that has gotten me through this week alone has been caramel frappuccinos from Starbucks. I don’t even like caramel, but they are SO good. Coffee has definitely been a necessity in order to even live with all the midterms, papers, and variety of group projects assigned! Thankfully I have a lot to look forward to on Friday, though, because not only is the the start of spring break, but it’s also my birthday! I do have a business calculus exam to prepare for, but it won’t stop me from being excited about the entire day because I get to go to the Old Spaghetti Factory Friday night in order to celebrate, and I’m ecstatic about that! We don’t have an Old Spaghetti Factory back home so the only chance I ever get to eat there is if I’m either in Indianapolis or if I’m in Nashville for some reason, but needless to say I’m pumped. Only four classes separate me from relaxation, friends, and family!
