Today was a great day…and not just because I didn’t have class! Today I figured out how to log in to my blog (thanks to Andre!), and today is also my roommate’s birthday! If you’re anything like I am, then you love being the person to throw surprise parties instead of having one thrown for you. Throwing the surprise birthday party was so easy on Labor Day because he went out of town on Saturday and didn’t come back until this morning. With the help of some great friends I’ve made over the past few weeks (and a trip to Target) we were capable of making this magic happen in my room:

Surprise!
Also, here’s a quick glance at my room! Like you can see in this picture, I had and always have people in my room, whether it be from my closest friends to just random people who stop by the check out what’s going on in my room. My roommate was surprised by the room decorations, and he claims to enjoy them as well. I bought him a new wallet, and my friend Katie baked him a cake! We also ordered Chinese food for his birthday from a restaurant in the Glendale area named King Dragon. It was cheap AND good, and it fed six of my friends and I for $28! I’m not big into oriental food whatsoever, so I was thoroughly impressed by how good it was!
I would go on and on about how good my day was today, but honestly I have yet to have a bad day here…and I need to finish up some homework. Happy Labor Day, all!
