I may or may not regret this post after now, but here we go: Happy Throwback Thursday everyone! Throwback Thursday is defined by Urban Dictionary as “when you put a picture from a ‘while’ ago on your social media sites.” This is can usually be found on Instagram & Twitter by “hash-tagging.” or attaching a # sign before words, such as my title.

Freshman in high school vs. freshman in college. Crazy, right?

Anyways, I may or may not do this regularly as a blog from here on out where I post older pictures of something and write about the memories they bring back, too. This picture, for example, was taken in 2008 when I was a freshman in high school. It’s weirdfor me to think back to that period of time in my life, but I’m sure it is for everyone as well. As a freshman in high school, I would have never imagined myself in the shoes that I’m in now, and I would have never imagined myself to be at Butler, either! Back then I was just concerned with getting through each day, and now I’m so goal-oriented, yet I still feel like I can remember my entire freshman year like it was yesterday.  Looking back, I haven’t kept a consistent friend base that I can reminisce with due to all of my friends and I going our separate ways, but it was definitely for the best for all of us. I cannot wait to see what my future holds, but I’m going to take advantage of the time I have now!

This post was also brought upon by looking at an old picture of Butler Blue III that was posted on Facebook earlier as a puppy! Here’s the photo of baby Blue that has me feeling oh so nostalgic currently. Enjoy!
