First and foremost- HAPPY FRIDAY! I’m SO thankful it’s finally Friday, because I had a rough, yet interesting week. From exams to papers and assignment due left and right, I cannot wait to just relax…which won’t happen until Sunday. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, because I have my “Get Real” event on Saturday.
The “Get Real” event is hosted by the College of Business for the introductory business course that all business majors take. Basically what it is, is an adventure course consisting of high-ropes and low-ropes courses used to create a team-bonding experience/atmosphere. We have to do it as a class because we’re required to write a business plan by the end of the semester, therefore we are going to see how well we work together as a team. I enjoy my team members and I’m very interested to see as to how well we work together in a physical environment. It’ll be interesting.
After the event, I’m going with a bunch of friends on Saturday night to a “Sk80′s” event that SGA is hosting where everyone is supposed to dress up in 80′s clothing and we’re going roller skating. It’s going to be an interesting night considering I don’t own a single item of clothing that looks vintage; I’m more into it because my friends are dressing up and I can’t wait to see what they come up with.
