About Me:

Hey, I'm Austin, and I'm currently a freshman here at Butler! I'm an ENTJ, a travel junkie, and an entrepreneur. I'm an Alpha Kappa Psi brother & True Blue Mentor, as well as being a part of Entrepreneurship & Innovation club, the volunteer center, and a student production crew member at the brand new Schrott Center. I also am a part of the student-run business, the Butler Bed Buddy. I'm always looking for something to get involved with on campus as well. Go Dawgs!

A Very Parks & Recreation Valentine’s Day

Thursday is Valentine’s Day, and although I don’t necessarily have a Valentine’s Date – well, except for a friend date with my best friend Emily – I’m going to celebrate by giving out cards!

Valentine’s Day makes me feel very nostalgic. I remember back home when it was Valentine’s Day in elementary school that we would pass out Valentine’s Day cards in class and it was great getting a personal “card” (always premade ones, usually spongebob or something – you get the point) from every in the class as well as giving out personal cards to everyone else, too. This Valentine’s Day I do want to do this once again with the friends I’ve made at Butler – except for this time with humorous Valentine’s Day cards from Parks and Recreation! I found a variety of these online, whether it be through Instagram or Tumblr, there are a ton of great cards that bring back a lot of memories, too! Although these are from Parks and Recreation, there are some other cards I plan on giving out to my closest friends – you should use some of these, too, if you like the show!

Now there are honestly plenty of other ones I would use, too, but I just have a new-found love of Parks and Recreation so all of these are completely appropriate.  I’ll probably spend most of my free time on Thursday catching up to where the season is now, but I don’t know anyone who has watched it that doesn’t love it! If you haven’t watched it, YOU NEED TO. That is all.
