About Me:

Hey, I'm Austin, and I'm currently a freshman here at Butler! I'm an ENTJ, a travel junkie, and an entrepreneur. I'm an Alpha Kappa Psi brother & True Blue Mentor, as well as being a part of Entrepreneurship & Innovation club, the volunteer center, and a student production crew member at the brand new Schrott Center. I also am a part of the student-run business, the Butler Bed Buddy. I'm always looking for something to get involved with on campus as well. Go Dawgs!

What Have I Done?

I decided earlier in the week that I was going to go back home for the extended weekend. “It’ll be fun! I won’t be able to see anyone until the summer anyways if I don’t go home for spring break!” Well, I’ve gotten myself into quite a mess…..it’s pretty much blizzard-ing where I live right now, and I’m leaving at 8PM tonight to go home…

What my house currently looks like, which isn't so bad...

It just looks like a lot of snow there, but its gotten much worse. The interstate and all main roads are practically shutting down, and I’m not exactly sure how it’s going to look when I get home at about 5AM tomorrow morning.

One of the busiest roads that leads from my house in Knoxville to my high school, which is a disaster currently.

In the UK roads and railways are disrupted if just a few snowflakes fall. It is rarely that bad though.

  2. That’s some insane weather, Austin! Growing up in Australia we’re not familiar with that kind of snow fall at ALL on our streets!

Thanks for sharing the images and I hope your trip home didn’t get too negatively affected by that heavy snow!

Wow what an amazing pic. I just liked the way you have presented the same. Even though you have faced the problem but then too everyone must enjoy each and every situation.

  4. This is the worst condition, I also got myself struck in such state and can’t explain how i passed that day.
