Spanish Rap

Although my Spanish group thought we were being creative in reciting our vocabulary words to the tune of a rap by Nicki Minaj, turns out the other two groups did the same thing! They didn’t use Nicki Minaj but they still rapped. It was fun though! My group was CLEARLY the best. Not only did we have great costumes, our theme was aliens vs. nerds, but we also memorized it. I think our professor was impressed.

In my British Literature class, we have to write a sonnet and I’m not used to writing poetry so it will definitely be a challenge.Who knows, maybe I’ll be a natural! This is the first class I’ve actually liked British Literature in. We cover more poetry than the typical Shakespeare as in high school english which is a definite plus.

This is Holcomb Tower. I would always sit by the tower when it was warmer and study! Can't wait until spring!

Snow Day Part Two

So we got TWO days off for the weather. It was fun to say the least. I maneuvered my way over to get breakfast this morning and since it was early I also got first dibs on the machines in the laundry room. I can proudly say that I didn’t fall! Then I read my book for my Civil War FYS class. Hopefully, and doubtfully, we can get another snow day tomorrow!

I can’t wait until the weekend. Hopefully the roads will be clear enough for me to go to the mall. I am in desperate need of a new sweater! I am also in need of new snow boots!
