Thanksgiving is Almost Upon Us!

This upcoming week is the last week before Thanksgiving and I couldn’t be any happier! On Friday, after my last class, I’m going home. I have three exams this week, which is kind of the downside of it all. But, I just have to keep reminding myself that in less than a week I’ll be in the comfort of my own bed!

So I’ve recently been obsessed with Italy lately. One thing I plan to tackle in my lifetime is to learn how to speak Italian (after I conquer Spanish first!). I visited Italy this summer and I fell in love with it. I’d definitely love to live in Rome for a year. :)

Waiting For Thanksgiving…!!!

Thanksgiving Break is in TWO weeks and I’m excited! Although I absolutely love being in class every day, I need a week off.

My dorm is offering free Harry Potter midnight tickets and is even providing transportation! I’m not a big fan, I’ve only read/seen the first book and movie, but it is still going to be fun. A lot of my friends in Chemistry are going so it should be fun going with them and getting up early the next morning for Chem lecture.

Since I haven’t seen the rest of the movies, over Thanksgiving break I plan on having a marathon of them to really get into the Potter spirit. I might even read the books……. Probably not! I do in fact like reading and I am thinking about purchasing President Bush’s new book which came out today. Although I don’t agree with his policies, I think it would be interesting to get his perspective on things. I try to keep an open mind when it comes to politics.
