So I have been stocking up on things I need for my room since I go back to campus in a little over a week and I decided, what better way to spend my
money time than by going to Target? I literally stocked up on everything: air freshener, Tylenol, and even toothpaste. For some reason I always get scared second semester that there is going to be an unnecessarily large blizzard that will keep me trapped in my dorm for a month so I want to make sure I’m prepared.
I’ve been collecting all of my items in a little pile in my living room, much to the dismay of my family. But good news for them, I’m rapidly running out of Christmas money, especially since I bought $100 worth of goodies from Target…. I only have to buy gifts for two people and I’ll be done with shopping, I hope.
My pile o' goodies
I had to make a video for my Political Humor class about how I was trained to think the way I do regarding politics. But it had to be funny. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do but I finally decided to do one on why we should recycle babies to protect the environment.
In order to do this project I had to buy a toy doll from Target, which made for an awkward time. As the cashier was printing out a gift receipt because she assumed it was a gift, she asked who I was giving it to. When I replied that it was for me, she gave me a very strange look and said, “Oh, ok…” Needless to say, it was well worth it because I love my video!
Yesterday I went shopping at Target to start buying things I need for this upcoming school year. I was really shocked I didn’t need that many things. It seemed like I bought a million things going into my sophomore year so it’s nice that I didn’t have to spend as much money this year. I mostly just needed new notebooks and pencils.
The biggest, and most expensive item, I needed was a new mini fridge since the one I had last year mysterious stopped working. I decided not to get the Yankees fridge I have been coveting for years, but hopefully this lasts longer than a year!
My box O' supplies!
I am addicted to shopping. I am also addicted to eating cottage cheese, but that’s another story in itself!
Yesterday, my friend Maisie and I went shopping! It was early in the morning so no one was at the mall so there was more room for us! She didn’t buy anything but of course I purchased everything in sight! I needed some new shoes and a spring jacket so at least some of the items were necessities!
After a long day of shopping, I realized that I ran out of cottage cheese at home and rewarded myself by stopping by Target and buying some! Sure, it’s a weird reward but whatever! As I was about to leave Target, I saw that the new One Direction album had just come out. As you saw in my previous post I’m on a new weird teeny bopper phase so I couldn’t resist buying it! I’ve been jamming out ever since. Gosh I’m going to miss days like these once classes start again!
As you can tell, I was excited to get my new CD!
