Yesterday, one of my very generous residents made pancakes for the unit! I never had chocolate chip pancakes before nor had I eaten pancakes in years so I was extremely excited to be able to eat some. Needless to say, I had two and they were delicious. And, unfortunately, I ate them extremely quickly because I had to rush to church and I got a stomach ache because of it. They were so good that I think I’ll visit IHOP sometime soon to celebrate my newfound love!

This made me decide to make today’s music monday dedicated to Rihanna and her song “Birthday Cake.” No, my birthday isn’t any time soon but it had the work “cake” in the title so I thought it was fitting. This is one of my favorite songs and let’s just say that I sing this song at the top of my lungs when I’m alone in the car.

So the Bulldogs made it to the Final Four and everyone on campus couldn’t be more excited! We spent the first 10 minutes of my FYS class today discussing Butler’s prospects of winning it all. They play VCU on April 2 and the championship is on the 4th, which is my birthday! Nothing would make me happier than seeing Butler win the National Championship on my birthday!
I went into Starbucks today and the 100.9 Radio Station was there giving free items and taking people’s pictures. I got a keychain and they took my picture with a sign! The picture isn’t on their website yet but I’ll post it here once it is! I think they’re trying to raise Indy’s spirit for the Bulldogs!
