Instead of joining in with my fellow freshmen on various weekend activities, I went home to visit my high school for its Homecoming weekend! I got to see old friends again and even unexpectedly made new ones. I also got to visit my friends at Loyola University in Chicago.

Since my weekend was all fun, now I’m spending my Sunday night like most students: doing homework! I have a math test and a Spanish quiz coming up this week so hopefully I do well! I also have two papers to write for my First Year Seminar class.

I am part of the College Democrats organization at Butler and tomorrow we will be meeting at our faculty advisor’s home and there will be a special guest at the meeting as well.
