Today was a wonderful Valentine’s Day! When I walked into the Collegian office, there were personalized Valentine’s cards on all the computers! Our Print Managing Editor made them for everyone and even brought candy for us! Of course I stole all of the York peppermint patties.
I was also assigned to make the Valentine’s Day playlist in the office full of 56 love songs! It had all the greatest love hits, even Demi Lovato! It was the best playlist ever created. Since I obviously now found my new passion for DJ’ing, I’ve decided to make a playlist for every upcoming holiday! You better watch out National Poetry Month, a playlist is coming for you soon!
Today ended up being a good day! The only thing that would’ve made today better would be for me to meet Kim Kardashian, but that can wait for now!
Lauren, the copy editor, and I celebrating the day with a festive heart in the Collegian office!
Today is Valentine’s Day and I was pleasantly surprised that as soon as I walked into Jordan Hall, there was a girl handing out Valentine’s Day cards and candy. It definitely made my morning. I really needed the sugar because I was so tired. I didn’t even get to stop by Starbucks before class like I usually do!
In my Civil War FYS class we are now reading “For Cause and Comrades” by James M. McPherson. I haven’t started reading it yet but I will tonight and give my opinion. It’s shorter than the last book we read so I kind of like it already.
I did not get to watch the Grammys yesterday unfortunately. I did get to catch Lady Gaga’s performance, which I actually thought was kind of boring. I’m an ardent fan and even I was left a little disappointed with her new song “Born This Way.”
That’s all for today! Feel free to leave a comment and thanks for visiting!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
