So it’s getting to the end of the year which means most of my International residents are leaving soon! It’s sad but also good since winter break is soon! I can’t wait to just be able to relax and not have to worry about any assignments for about two months!
One of the perks of being an RA is that your residents give you their stuff if they leave for the semester! Yesterday I got a cool Dinosaur onesie from my resident Stuart! It’s quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever received.
I’m a dinosaur. So what?
So today I got to go to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum for the first time ever and it was really fun! It was a Reslife sponsored event so we all got to go for free and I’m so glad I went! When we arrived we were greeted by LJ who got us pumped about seeing all the attractions.
I got to see the dinosaur exhibit, the famous children in history exhibit, and browse all the different places and sights in the museum. I even awkwardly got kicked out of the butterfly exhibit because it was only for children 5 and under. Whoops!
I stayed for an hour before all the children there started to get to me and I ended my trip there by visiting the bookstore. I almost bought a sweatshirt before I realized I forgot my credit card in my dorm! Oh well, at least I’ll have more money for shopping tomorrow!
