The night before the Georgetown game, us interns got to go out to dinner with LJ. We went to a restaurant called Founding Farmers, which is evidently well known in the city. Us interns walked/caught the metro together on the way there, which was definitely a funny experience in itself.
When we finally got to the restaurant, we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. But, while we were standing there, the restaurant brought out little appetizers to appease everyone before they got seated. Needless to say, I was full before I even sat down and it was so delicious! Also while we were waiting, President Obama‘s motorcade drove by! I tried to snap a quick picture of it but it drove by too fast!
Dinner was so much fun and LJ definitely knows how to liven a room! President Danko even came by to eat with us and we got to hear all of the updates of what’s happening on campus and how the snow has been wrecking havoc everywhere. Thankfully the snow passed by D.C. so we escaped the worst!

So all of us bloggers had our last dinner with our boss Kristen who accepted a position at a new place so I’m excited for her but sad that she’s leaving. I remember getting my first email from her about being a blogger my freshman year and loving her ever since. Kristen is seriously one of the nicest people in the world and I’m going to miss her so much!
She took us all out to eat at Three Wise Men in Broad Ripple and it was delicious! Besides getting wings for an appetizer, I also got chips and a huge Chicken Parm sandwich. Needless to say I have a lot left over and will probably be eating it for the next couple of days. It was such a great way to say goodbye but I’m sure she’ll always be around so we can see her! She also gave us these great parting gifts that included Target giftcards, sticky notes, and tons of candy!
All of us with Kristen!
Last night I watched the White House Correspondent’s Dinner on CSPAN. If you’re not familiar with it, it is a dinner run by all the reporters at the White House for a special cause and to give out scholarships. During the dinner, the President and a guest comedian both do their own stand up comedic routines.
This year’s comedian was Seth Meyers. I usually find Seth to be awkward, especially when he tries to be funny, but I have to say he was hilarious last night! His Donald Trump jokes were the best! Mr. Trump looked so angry whenever he was being made fun of and that made it even better. Everyone sitting at Trump’s table looked so awkward because they didn’t know whether to laugh or not!
President Obama was pretty funny as well. I really liked his Adjustment Bureau joke against Matt Damon because I previously blogged about how I did not like that movie.
I was tweeting during the whole event and the social media sponsored hash-tag for the event for the event was #nerdprom. I think it is funny that they willingly called it a Nerd Prom but it’s not like I blame them because what else would you call a room full of politicians and journalists with their wives!?

Here is a video of Seth Meyers’ remarks. You can see where he starts talking about Trump at 12:04
