J-E-T-S Jets!

Although I’m not a huge sports junkie, I definitely have my favorite teams. In baseball of course I like the Yankees and in college football I love USC. But when it comes down to the NFL, I can’t deny my affection for the NY Jets!

I like the Colts as well but tonight’s game vs the Jets was a close one! Both teams played well but eventually the Jets squeaked by with a 17-16 win! I also like the Bears since I live near Chicago so I’m pretty interested in seeing how they’ll play in the postseason.

Jersey Shore!

Although I usually try to hold myself to a higher standard while watching TV, I have to admit that my guilty pleasure happens to be the TV show, Jersey Shore. The third season premieres tonight and I’m currently excited for it.

Not only will there be a new cast member but my least favorite character, Angelina, will be gone.

When the semester starts, my Thursdays are going to be conflicted. I love watching The Office and 30 Rock and they all are on Thursday. Although the shows come on at different times, I don’t want to spend all my time in front of the television. I’ll probably just choose which two I want to see and watch the other the next day online! Crisis averted!

Winter break is winding down really fast which is kind of bittersweet. It’s good because I’m excited to start the new semester but it’s bad because I like not having homework to do!

No Tron for Now

My plans for seeing the movie Tron: Legacy got canceled so there won’t be a review for now! But I do plan on seeing it eventually! I think I’m more excited for the music in the movie more than the actual plot though.

There are still many more days left for break but it is still going by fast. I have to make sure I make the most of it and do stuff every day. I am thinking of going to downtown Chicago tomorrow to shop and eat with some friends at Olive Garden. It’s sort of a tradition where a group of us will eat at Olive Garden and sit for hours and catch up.

Hello 2011!

Today is the second day of the new year which is pretty exciting! I guess I’ll have to get used to writing 2011 for the year when I date things now. I’ve already made the mistake and put 2010 on something already!

I’m going to see the movie Tron: Legacy tomorrow. I’ve heard good reviews from everyone who has seen it, with special regards to the music! Daft Punk performs all the music in the movie and I’m a big fan of theirs so I’ll probably enjoy it!
