Two Days Left

There are only two days left until the New Year which means that I need to start thinking of a New Year’s Resolution! Here’s a list of possible ideas:

1. Quit biting my nails- It’s a habit I’ve had my whole life so I guess I could quit now!

2. Eat fruits and vegetables every day- I already try to keep a good diet but sometimes I get distracted and tend to go for more junk food!

3. Stop procrastinating- I must admit, I don’t usually wait until the day before to do assignments….. More like two days before! But doing assignments right when I get them could be very beneficial and could give me more free time.

I’ll probably narrow it down tomorrow! I have unsuccessfully tried to stop biting my nails but I can always try again!

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog and feel free to leave a comment!

Movies Misadventures!

This blog post will be a little different in the sense that it’s the first review I’ve done! Hope you’re more entertained than I was seeing the movie haha.

So yesterday a group of my friends decided to go to the movies and we unfortunately saw “How Do You Know.” There were more girls in the group and the majority won and forced us to go see a chick flick. It just might have been one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I’m supposed to be seeing “Tron” on Monday and it looks good so I’ll be sure to post my thoughts!

“How Do You Know” was about a girl named Lisa who was unnecessarily naive and she was dating one guy but didn’t know another guy liked her. At the end they get togehter and live “happily ever after.” I guess my biggest thing against the movie was the lack of interesting plot and the mushy dialogue. I generally like action movies so I’m sure that contributed to me not liking the movie as well.

I’d personally give it about 2 out of 5 stars.

If you’ve seen the movie feel free to leave a comment about your opinions of it! The good news is that it’s almost the new year which is exciting!

Just Dance!

So today I went to the mall and used some of my Christmas money to go shopping. It was fun because it was like a high school class reunion because I saw almost EVERYONE from my class there. The bad part was that I couldn’t find anything I liked and the lines were too long! But I did buy some new shoes so that was a plus!

Afterwards I went to Chipotle, of course, and my friend Diana’s house to play her Wii Just Dance 2 game. Needless to say, I won every single round. I’m definitely getting it because it just might be the funnest game EVER!

Spring Cleaning: Winter Edition

My family likes to do things backwards and start spring cleaning in the WINTER! I didn’t have much to clean in my room since I always try to keep it neat and tidy so it wasn’t too bad!

Tomorrow is Christmas and I’m pretty excited! I think I have an idea of what I’m getting but I can’t be too sure! I also did some last minute Christmas shopping for my family and I beat the crowds so it went well.

Today I am going to purchase my textbooks for next semester. It’s so weird to think that I already finished one semester of college.

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting and feel free to leave a comment.

Winter Break Fun!

I visited Purdue on my first day off to surprise my friends Kelly and Nicolette and it was fun. Purdue is HUGE compared to Butler so it was definitely a new experience. We couldn’t do that much because they had finals the next day so we just hung out and went out to eat dinner.

I was pressured by some of my other friends to see “Black Swan” and it was quite the experience as well! It was disturbing in the best way possible. I liked it! The plot was too complex to get into but it was a psychological drama and kept me on my toes.

Off to Purdue

After my final today, on the way home, I’m going to visit some of my friends at Purdue University. I got a letter in the mail from one of them yesterday so I’m planning on surprising them all! Hopefully they don’t read this post first and ruin the surprise!

We get a whole month off for winter break at Butler so I will savor every moment! I’m just hoping it will not go by fast. Lately breaks haven’t been going by fast so I feel like this will be the same! :)

Tomorrow’s the BIG day!

I take my Chemistry final tomorrow and needless to say, I’m nervous. I studied all day and weekend so hopefully I do well! After my final I get to hit the road and go home. There has been a lot of snow and all of the schools in my county were canceled but I’m sure the snow will be cleaned up by the time I get home.

I recently went to an art exhibit on campus which showcased work by fellow Butler students. It was great seeing all of the talent on campus. I’m taking an art class next semester but I’m sure my work wouldn’t be able to compare since I’m not the most artistically inclined person around.

Almost Winter Break!

I only have one final this week and it is on Tuesday so as soon as it’s over, I’m going home! I’m so excited that winter break is almost here. When I come back from break it will be Rush Week so hopefully that will be just as fun as break.

On Friday all of the bloggers got together at our advisor Kristen’s house to have a Christmas gathering. It was fun getting to know the fellow bloggers and playing games and eating food outside of the dining halls. We all rode in the same car to her house and since there was traffic, it was a long and entertaining car ride.

Big Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow I will be taking three of my four finals! The pressure is on! I’m very nervous but hopefully I’ll do well on all of them. It’s weird how fast the semester has gone by. I can’t believe I’m already taking finals.

I’m glad the week is almost over because I need a break from all the studying and work! I just want to go home and eat Chipotle FOREVER! It’s my favorite place to eat and if I could, I’d eat it every day.

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog & feel free to leave a comment!

Deciding on a Minor!

I’ve been trying all semester to determine on a minor but I’ve still been conflicted between two choices. Economics or History. I want to go to Law school so both would be good for what field of work I want to go into but I’ll decide soon! I’m really interested in both so that’s why it’s such a hard decision.

I have a paper due in Chemistry tomorrow over nutrition which shouldn’t be too hard. This year is actually the first year I’ve thoroughly enjoyed a science class! I really love the labs too because they give you a more hands on outlook on the material but go more in-depth than a typical high school lab assignment.

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog & feel free to leave a comment!
