Getting Into the Christmas Spirit with Donkeys!

The biggest thing on campus now is how everyone is anticipating finals and the donkey. I’ll get to the donkey later.

Finals are in two weeks which actually makes me happy because it means that Christmas break is almost upon us!

I also recently bought the song “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele and I highly recommend it! I’m a big Adele fan so I might be biased but it is one of her better songs!

So the fraternity TKE every year when the students get back from Thanksgiving break plays the song “Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey” on a continuous loop nonstop. It just so happens to be my favorite Christmas song so I don’t mind! It’s definitely been a topic of discussion in all of my classes today.

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog and feel free to leave a comment!

Caught Up On Work!

This week I’ve actually finished all my work ahead of time instead of procrastinating which has led me to having A LOT of free time. I’ve spent it by reading my Sarah Palin book and just reviewing my other work. Although it sounds boring, it has been so relaxing!

Tomorrow I have to give a presentation in my Irish Literature class. Hopefully I do well! I also have a Spanish Quiz which I hope to do well on as well. Pretty soon I feel finals week will be upon us which I am NOT looking forward to.

That’s all for today! Hopefully I’ll have some good and exciting news/things to blog about next time!

Although this is EXTREMELY embarassing, I have to admit it's really funny. My friend Angela decided to surprise me with this masterpiece!

Back at Butler!

I made it back to Butler today! After Church I immediately came back and I’m glad I did because I got a really good parking spot! I got the last one and it made my day. :) As you can tell, I get excited easily. I love that Butler allows freshmen to have cars on campus!

Today I kind of got out the first things out of my closet and then I looked in the mirror and realized it was my old high school uniform! It definitely took me back but I’m perfectly fine being at Butler without wearing the same thing everyday.

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog!

This is my high school uniform! The shirt was supposed to be tucked in but I was being a rebel that day! Don't pay attention to the awkwardness of the pic! I was on the phone/caught off guard!

Lazy Day!

Today was the first day where I could just finally relax and do nothing! I finished my homework yesterday so I’d have the weekend to myself.

All I did today was do my laundry and read a book. I starting reading Sarah Palin’s newest book “America By Heart.” It’s not as good as her first book but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Tomorrow is the last day of break which is kind of depressing. It went by so fast! It was fun while it lasted!

Black Friday!

Today I went Black Friday shopping and it was fun! I love big crowds so I fit right in! I didn’t wake up early at like 4 AM but I was out around noon so the massive crowds died down by then.

I also unexpectedly went to Olive Garden today with two of my friends. It was god but not as good as the meals at home! :)

One of my friends had a party today and I got to see a lot of my high school friends. It was a great time to relax and get caught up with everyone’s lives. This Thanksgiving break is turning out to be funner and funner as the days go on!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! :)

This Thanksgiving break has been fun so far! On Saturday I went to Loyola in Chicago. They had school on Monday and Tuesday so I got to stay until Monday. It was a fun and spontaneous weekend and I’m glad I got to spend it with my friends.

I also visited my friend Liz which was even more spontaneous than my weekend. Tomorrow one of my friends is having a party so everyone can come together for the first time since graduation. Hopefully I can go after the madness of Black Friday tomorrow! It’s going to be my first time going shopping on Black Friday and I will be sure to blog about it!

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog.

This Upcoming Weekend!

So this weekend I’m pretty happy for because 1. it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving break and 2. I’m going to visit Loyola (again) to see my friends! Their break doesn’t start until November 24th while mine at Butler starts as soon as my last class ends on the 19th! So it’ll be fun gloating how I’m out of school and they still have two more days of classes. :)

So I have one more test this week and I’ll be done with tests until after break! I do, however, have to work on a project for my Irish Literature class. Hopefully it won’t be too challenging.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Feel free to comment or ask any questions about life on campus!

This is the last picture from my vacation (promise!). This was another street performer in Barcelona but if you look closely, he was floating in midair.

A Great Cloudy Day!

So the Blue Man Group came to Butler this past weekend to perform various shows at Clowes Hall. A lot of people were very excited to go and I regret not attending. Tickets sold out really fast so maybe next time!

Although today is a cloudy day….. I LOVE IT! Usually people dislike this kind of weather but I enjoy it because it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. I also like today because it was just an overall good day.

I only had two classes today (which is good no matter what) and I understood everything in them! In Chemistry we reviewed for our test and I actually knew most of the answers. It’s probably because I studied all weekend because I have so much work to do this week. Also, in math, usually I’m lost because math isn’t my strongest subject but I also understood the material! I have two tests tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow can somehow be better than today!

Thanksgiving is Almost Upon Us!

This upcoming week is the last week before Thanksgiving and I couldn’t be any happier! On Friday, after my last class, I’m going home. I have three exams this week, which is kind of the downside of it all. But, I just have to keep reminding myself that in less than a week I’ll be in the comfort of my own bed!

So I’ve recently been obsessed with Italy lately. One thing I plan to tackle in my lifetime is to learn how to speak Italian (after I conquer Spanish first!). I visited Italy this summer and I fell in love with it. I’d definitely love to live in Rome for a year. :)

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog! Feel free to leave a comment asking me about Freshman year and Butler life!

Unexpected Things

On Tuesday night my cellphone broke so Wednesday, after class, I had to go to the Apple store to receive a new one. I got it and all is well now. I am so lost without my phone!

Today on campus, free Slurpees were handed out. I know some people who got some but I sadly didn’t get to receive one because I had classes during the time they were handed out. Evidently they’re really good (I’ve never had one before).

Today was also an important day because I scheduled my classes for next semester! I met with my advisor yesterday so I could plan out which classes to take and luckily the classes I wanted weren’t taken up. The class I feel will be the most interesting is Ballroom Dancing. Yes, you read that correctly! It was one of the PE credit choices and I seized the opportunity because how many people do you know can say they know how to ballroom dance?

That’s all for today! Thanks for visiting my blog! Feel free to leave a comment!
