Transfer Students

Home

Your education is important. We know that sometimes circumstances change - and that Butler University might be the right place for you to finish your education, even if you didn't start it here.

We define transfer students as those who have earned 12 or more credit hours at a college or university after completing high school. Transfer admission is done on a rolling basis. We strongly encourage interested transfer students to complete your applications at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester. Some programs have additional requirements. Financial aid and scholarships are available for transfer applicants.

Learn more about the application requirements and cost, aid and scholarships by visiting our website or contacting our Office of Admission.
