If you are sending in a paper application, it must be accompanied by a check, money order or credit card slip for $35 payable to Butler University. This is your nonrefundable application fee. (Note: This fee is waived for online applications or if your parents, grandparents or siblings have graduated from or are currently attending Butler.)
Butler also accepts the Common Application. We give equal consideration to online, paper and Common applications.

Students majoring in the fine arts must complete a secondary Dance, Art+Design, Music, Theatre or Arts Administration application in addition to the Freshman Application for Admission and Scholarships.
An audition and/or interview is required of all majors in the Jordan College of Fine Arts. Both applications must be submitted before an audition can be scheduled.
