Important Dates

November 1: The complete Application for Freshman Admission and Scholarship (or Common Application) is due to the Office of Admission to receive priority scholarship consideration.

December 1: Instructions for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are emailed to those who have applied for admission.

January 1: The FAFSA becomes available online at www.fafsa.gov. (Butler school code: 001788)

March 1: Submit the FAFSA on or before this date to receive priority consideration of gift aid.

Mid March: Notification of financial aid for admitted freshmen begins.

May 1: National Candidate Reply Date (enrollment deposit due to the Office of Admission).

Mid July: The Office of Student Accounts will publish the E-Bill (electronic billing statement) for the fall semester.

Welcome Week: New student borrowers are required to attend one of the loan information sessions conducted during this week.
