Indianapolis: City of Opportunity

Indianapolis was not only ranked "No. 1 Best City for College Graduates" by Career Builder, it's also a lively, bustling city full of things for you to enjoy as a Butler University student. From rock concerts to symphony hall, art galleries to museums, and every kind of restaurant, you'll never be bored. Butler students also enjoy having the Colts and Pacers play just a few miles from campus, and partaking in the annual Indy 500 festivities just after finals each May.

Broad Ripple

  • Butler's campus is also only five minutes from Broad Ripple: a popular, eclectic section of the city
  • Broad Ripple features boutiques, cafés, galleries, and a wide array of cuisines
  • Students can walk, jog or ride their bikes into Broad Ripple on the canal path
  • Students take advantage of the energetic nightlife and student discounts
