This summer will mark the 10th time that Dr. Brimmer’s ensembles have been featured in international festivals, underwritten by donors and sponsors.
This year also launched Butler University's Vocal Jazz Endowment

Professional Experience
Dr. Brimmer's workshops, clinics and concerts for Butler students have included Elvis Costello, The Four Freshmen, Jonny Dankworth, Marvin Hamlisch, Cleo Lane, Bobby McFerrin, Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, Paris Rutherford, The Real Group, Todd Rundgren, Rockapella, Kirby Shaw, Take 6 and Steve Zegree. Naturally 7 joins Vocal Jazz Fest ’11 this fall, working with Butler students, faculty, Midwest directors and artists. Dr. Brimmer is active in Butler’s Study Abroad program, taking students to perform in South America, Central Europe and Asia. Currently on sabbatical, Tim is serving as Visiting Scholar at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, working with directors from several countries in preparation for the 2011 International Jazz Educators Conference.
