I spent 10 years covering religion for The Indianapolis Star, working on local, national and international stories about diverse religious traditions, issues of religious liberty, religious pluralism.
Butler Assignment (classes or work duties)
Director of the Center for Faith and Vocation, a Lilly Endowment funded initiative that brings Butler into a network of 88 colleges and universities nationwide helping students connect spirituality and faith with their own sense of calling or vocation. I work with students, faculty and staff to make space for religious questions and commitments on campus and to help Butler become a place where discernment of vocation is part of the campus culture.
